(November 14, 2018, 4:53 am)Great place for fresh, inexpensive produce, although it needs a little more cleaning and prep than a more expensive Randall’s or HEB. Close and convenient. Absolutely love the fajitas and my wife is a huge fan of the Caldo de Res: chicken soup deluxe. Bakery is also tasty if you like Mexican style pastries. Not a huge selection but they have all the basics, including a decent selection of beer. The security officer at the door used to put me on edge when I first started coming here but now I know them all by name. Friendly spot. Even welcoming to gringos like me. Definitely easier to navigate in Spanish than English.
