Every time I come here to grab a bite, everyone is so attentive! This place is a bit of a hidden gem, and after meeting the owner, I understand why his establishment is amongst the best in Spring Branch! Food is always delicious and the seating areas are very unique! Come see what all my fuss is about!

Spring branch neighborhood haunt. Pretty good beer and bite list with a hyper local social feel. Have already renovated the "yard" to be a much more family and dog friendly space. Casual and unassuming. Relaxing and easy going. Parking is an issue. Avoid the lot out front and park across the street so you don't get boxed.

Good beer selection, pretty decent food, but service and atmosphere aren't exactly ideal for a beer garden. I really want to love this place because it's right around the corner local in my neighborhood, but I think that it suffers from a case of trying to be too many things at the same time. And my mind a beer garden should have a comfortable yet unpretentious atmosphere with a pub menu and good quick service. The food here is usually good although the quality varies, but the menu is a little bit shall we say, weird and faux gourmet for a beer garden. Which brings me to my next gripe, the clientele. Don't take this wrong, but yuppies really ruin the atmosphere in any place. And this place seems to attract the worst of the worst. Yuppies and hipsters. And both with their children. I'm sorry, but who brings young children someplace to drink beer? Just listening to conversations here I know I'm by far not the only one that's annoyed by all of the children. I should also mention that parking here can be rather challenging during busy times.

So in a nutshell, it's a great location with good beer and decent food but it really could be so much better. I would recommend the cobble and spoke if you're into a truly good beer garden experience. Although they don't have a kitchen, they have a bigger beer selection and the place is not full of children and hipsters.

I love this neighborhood bar. Lazy Oaks has a good food menu and a great craft beer selection. The outdoor area is absolutely perfect for families with kiddos. We can finally let our kids run wild and enjoy a beer in spring branch. Let's support this great bar as much as we can.

Some of the best bar food I’ve had in Houston! Had to double check with my server, but the food is indeed made from scratch. They have an amazing burger reminiscent of an In N Out animal style. The fried chicken sandwich is also awesome! And the fries!! ?I’ve also tried some of their special dishes and was really impressed by the schnitzel. The service here is so friendly, attentive and unpretentious. Plenty of seating, televisions, open space (felt extremely safe there even sitting inside as there are large, open garage doors). They’re also dog friendly! A great neighborhood spot. They have overflow parking in the lot across the street.
