My food was delicious, fairly priced and the portion was generous.

Everything is made fresh and the seasoning is homemade, which will always bring you back to your childhood memories.

Staff is nice and the atmosphere is very authentic.

Restrooms were super clean. Will be back for more!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Stopped in for lunch today I had the Birria it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had and LuLU was very friendly and customer oriented I don’t often leave reviews but los Mendoza absolutely killed it fantastic food and extremely friendly staff.

I kept seeing this place on my Google Maps and I must say that I tried it for the 1st time and I will not be back. This place is extremely over rated and if you decide to come pack a lunch!! On this particular day there was only one waitress and by the looks of it only one cook...SMH!!! The cook LOVES CUMIN, so if you're a cumin lover this is your spot. My wife ordered enchiladas de pollo with mole sauce and she got folded tortillas dipped in red sauce with cream and 2 drumsticks on the side 🤔. I got a caldo de res in a bird bath full of cumin...like it didn't taste like caldo de res. To be honest I wasn't satisfied with anything not even the table we sat at. That damn table was ALOT lower than the other tables and I had to keep slouching over to eat my caldo. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know and for the prices of this food to me is not worth it especially when they bring out your food 1 plate at a time. Take a look at the plates that we got served it does not look like the ones on Google maps.... I'm very disappointed!!!!

Just returned to Houston and was on the way to the hotel when we got a hankering for Mexican food. So stopped at Los Mendoza. Was not disappointed, truly authentic. I hadn't had Barbacoa like this since I was a kid. Staff were friendly and we beat the rush for dinner.

An excellent choice for authentic Mexican food. Saw the Los Mendoza Mexican Restaurant on Airlines Dr and decided to visit one Friday morning. We were not disappointed the breakfast choices are all good. We actually returned the next day to try other breakfast favorites such as Menudo. Apart from the selection of great dishes the restaurant is cozy and the staff makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Miss LuLu and Ruby took care of us and were friendly and attractive. Definitely recommended to family and friends.
