Last week I was craving some Colombian food and I was driving down Hillcroft I saw this wonderful sign for Marines Empanadas. When you walk into the restaurant you can be hit with some wonderful smells and you see the case filled with pastries. The wait staff was super friendly and cheerful. The menu was amazing because it had pictures of just about all the dishes. I am a visual person so it was great. I decided to get the platter which a sampling of just about all of the meats. (Since I am a meat and potatoes type of girl.) The food was flavorful and I loved to fried pork and steak.

(December 10, 2020, 9:06 pm)I have been obsessed with this restaurant since I moved close by six years ago. If you try the empanadas, literally no place will ever compare. I’ve been here many times, so I’ve had the chance to try many of their menu options. Everything is incredible. I love to bring my friends from central Houston here, since they’re always pretty impressed that I know about this place. Highly recommended!!!

(October 6, 2020, 10:50 pm)Holy F! You cannot go here and not try the Arroz con Pollo! Yes I think they have outstanding empanadad (especially the vegetarian empanadas) but you just have to try the Chicken and Rice.
