MAX's Wine Dive

This location is great! The food and especially fried chicken is amazing and the staff knows everything about the wine. Blake was a great server (and was kind enough to run after us to return our credit card when we forgot it!! 10/10 service! :) )

My friend and I came in on a Friday night about a month ago at about 11:30. Since they were open until 1am, we figured we were safe (being from the service industry, I don't want to be the person that walks in 20min before they close). I had the meatloaf which was really freaking good. It comes with collard greens (I can't eat them unfortunately) and jalapeno grits (again, can't eat them either). I'm sure they are awesome as I've never had anything that I didn't like. We each had a glass of wine. The servers were cordial and polite. The only thing we noticed was one of the staff turning the open sign off at 12:30a. I get it, I wouldn't want anyone coming in after I started breaking things down, but all of the info online says 1am.....so as much as it sucks, you shouldn't turn the open light off 30min before close.

Food and vibe is the place is great. Staff was pleasant and prompt. Great dining experience.

The atmosphere is laid back. The servers were awesome and food as well. The only thing I didn't like was the seating arrangement. We had a group of 8 and we were eating on top of each other. When we asked management if we could put a seat at the front of the table, he said no.. Other than that, everything was great and I will go back.. Oh, the server gave spot on wine selection.. Thanks.
