Having had Nashville's hot chicken before (not Prince's, but Hattie B's), I can attest that this place is definitely in the same spice range. Hard to compare fried chicken to a chicken sandwich but this place was great. The slaw and sauce go very well with the spiciness and I only tried medium to be on the safe side. Animal fries were also legit and is basically a meal in itself. The wait can be long, but it's worth it.
Would love try it again as my diet allows, haha.
Lucky to find this place. Great, simple menu. Unbelievable hot chicken. I had the mild chicken sandwich — it had just enough heat to qualify as “hot” chicken, but not too much for those inclined to less spicy food. The waffle fries were delicious too. If you’re in the neighborhood or even if you’re not, this place is worth a stop.
I ordered the halal chicken tenders. They were good and the fries were good. I probably won't come back unless everything is halal. I prefer more options. Give me a comment below when everything is halal and I will come back and bring more friends.
Staff is super friendly
Google hmu with a message to check out Mico's. I did as advised and was not disappointed. They are new to the scene and waited to try them again. Once again, not disappointed. Expect a bit of a wait as everything is prepared on the spot. Chris is extremely polite, friendly and enjoys what he does. The girls working were friendly and polite as well. Back to the food, the meat is tender with a perfect crunch. The flavor/seasoning IMO is a tad bit too sweet but the salty taste buds are more than happy. My other opinion is in regards to the fact that the entry level spice level should have a slight kick. Do away with the no spice and mild spice. The Brioche bread is just right, the coleslaw complements the chicken seasoning, and the sauce ties it all together. I've been to other food trucks and understand that you sometimes run out of certain things...this is to be expected! I hope that you drop the small sauce cup from $0.50 to $0.25 as I bet you will sell more...much more. Go on and feed your mouth...you'll be satisfied every time.
KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO!
