Chicken and waffle fries yes you heard me right chicken and waffle fries. Do I even need to say anything more! This food truck popped up a few months ago across from party city. I’ve been wanting to check it out but it’s just too darn hot to stand out there waiting for hot chicken if you know what I mean. Recently I drove past and it looks like there was not a line for once so I figured I would go see what all of the commotion was about. I’m glad that I did. This will replace canes chicken as my go to spot for a quick lunch that’s not fast food. I mean yes I know technically it’s fast food but it has a down-home southern taste to it which means greasy but satisfying. Plus it’s next to this really cool Harley repair shop and some of the cars and bikes to go in and out of there or just beautiful to look at.
This place is unreal! Still waiting for a location or truck on the north side of town. The sandwiches and the hot chicken waffle fries are indescribably delicious. GO RIGHT NOW, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
Visited for the first time this weekend, so so good! The only thing I didn't like was that the grease seats through the bread. As your fingers grasp the sandwich the oil comes through.i just patted down the bread with a napkin though and went in for my next bite because it was too delicious 😋
Best Nashville Hot sandwich I’ve had! Also, the seasoned waffle fries are fire. The only thing I will say is that their spice levels are stronger than they appear. Their medium heat sandwich would be the hottest at most other restaurants. No cap it had me in tears, but I fought through them tears cause that Sammich was good. 💀
Mico's has been on my list for a really long time and I'm so glad I finally got to try them! I got the Sammich combo and banana pudding. The chicken was VERY crispy, granted we were the first customers of the day. My friends and I all got the hot option and it was very spicy, but not just for the sake of spicy. I could definitely eat hot again, maybe the extra hot, but maybe not during the summer. The banana pudding was alright, got warm by the time I got to it, and the fries were super crispy but the portions were a bit lacking. Overall, I know I'll be coming back. Hopefully the full menu comes to this location!
