moonbowls (Healthy Koeran Bowls- Blodgett)

Just ordered for the first time and am excited to order again, especially since they’re currently attaching a coupon for a free bowl! I ordered the BBQ cauliflower and was very impressed with the flavors, but wasn’t able to convince my nephew that it was actually chicken lol

Food: Food is really good! A review here said their Korean Hot Chicken was not spicy but I think that is because Moonbowls forgot to give the sauce you put on it. I thought it was perfectly spicy!! The portions are perfect! Some people here are saying they are too small but it is a healthy eating option so they are normal size portions.

My issue: I ordered from here twice in one week. Once with Doordash and the second time I picked it up myself. First time they forgot the egg on the Chicken & Egg bowl and forgot the lemon slices in both bowls. Second time I paid for extra vegan ranch for my cauliflower (the cauliflower appetizer is SOOO good!!) but that was forgotten.

Customer service: Both times I contacted customer service later that night and they replied within 5-10 minutes. They took care of my issues and really went above and beyond to make it right. Moonbowls is located inside a food hall so I'm not sure where the customer service is located but they were great.

I will try Moonbowls again because I really loved the food but I am going to wait until the staff has the work flow down. I had missing items both times and so many reviews here reported missing items. So order from here but double check to make sure you got everything!!

All I have to say is WOW. I’m a vegan and I saw this pop up on door dash. I love healthy and flavoring bowls! I can honestly say it was hands down the best vegan bowl I’ve ever had. It’s so refreshing and delicious! I had the Korean bbq cauliflower bowl. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back here again!

I like their menu and how it's different from other alternatives, but I think they need to revamp some things:

1) We ordered Korean Hot Chicken and Meat Lovers via DoorDash. Both foods were very cold. It might be due to the delivery time, the packaging, or the food temperature when they were picked up. Might not be a big deal, but it makes a really bad first impression. You can change your packaging or add clear instructions about "how to serve the food properly at home."

2) The ingredients need to look and taste fresh because their food is supposed to be healthy. They need to emphasize more on freshness and also deliver that message to the customers more clearly.

3) The meals are different from other places. But the taste is not as interesting as the names and ingredients. Specifically, they need to work on the sauce to mix with ingredients to give integrity to the whole meal. It was not a smooth unique taste when I tried it. It was just some separate ingredients added together without any purpose. This could be changed by hiring better chefs or doing trial-and-error to find the best mix.

4) The price comparing to the food quality (temperature, freshness, taste, size, etc.) was very expensive. They need to work on the food quality to make it worth paying $16 for a small bowl.

5) Better messaging, better photos on social media, clearer instructions, and effective communication are critical. Either hire a marketing expert or do-it-yourself!

We have ordered from here via Door Dash several times and I swear it’s better every single time. The food is incredibly fresh and very rich in flavor. We aren’t close by so from pick up to drop off is like thirty min - still hot and. Incredibly good! SOOOO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
