Ragin' Cajun

Great food, and Cajun taste. Nice down home feel and had a wide variety of authentic Cajun fare. The fried seafood poboy is the best I've had in Houston. This is a casual place and family friendly.

It is a great place for locals to enjoy a taste of south Louisiana and over the years it has become a tourist attraction as well. I ate here many times when I lived Houston and it felt really comfortable to come home after many years over seas and find something that hasn't changed.

We wanted to take my friends for authentic Cajun food and crawfish. Growing up with many Cajun relatives, I can say the restaurant met exceeds my expectations. The food was really good. The prices are very reasonable and the value for dollar is better than expected for the area.

The family has maintained a Houston tradition!

First time for me. I will not be ordering the boudan balls again. Not impressed. Had the regular and grilled oysters, grilled was to tough for me but great flavor. Entree was shrimp and grits and it was good. My little girl enjoyed the spaghetti especially the meat ball. Unfortunately, order a spaghetti too go and 1 of the balls was hard like a rock. It was super fried that you couldn't even cut through it, that was money down the drain. Drinks were good. I will be returning for sure, but we need that spaghetti replaced!

I am addicted to the red beans and rice. I have to have honey cornbread with it.

The food was incredible and the service was spot on. Blackened catfish was the best I ever had.
