Rattan Pan-Asian Bistro & Wine Bar

Pretty new eatery but was very clean and spacious which made it easy to social distance when we went on a Tues night. There are so many cocktails that looked great that I never had a chance to taste but would love to come back to. The menu in general is huge and the happy hour menu is also very extensive. I got the Rattan Abuti sushi flight and loved every single piece in there, especially the scallops and foie gras and Japanese snapper. I also got the Unagi don and loved the flavor of the eel. The portions for the main entrees were huge. The fried rice was a little bland without soy sauce. Service was very attentive and quick. Kitchen closes at 8:45

Rattan is our absolute favorite restaurant in the energy corridor. The staff is incredible and has got to know us on a first name basis. The food is delicious whether it’s dine-in or take-out. Their happy hour menu has good prices and options. The Vietnamese Garlic Beef is my absolute FAVORITE option on the menu. I give them my highest recommendation!

Very nice environment, the decor is very modern. I ordered multiple plates from the happy hour menu and they were all very good. I loved the satay sampler and the peanut sauce that came with it. Unfortunately knocked off a star because my boyfriend found a hard piece of plastic in one of his dishes.

We were able to get in during happy hour & it was great opportunity to sample rolls and still have favorite apps and drinks. Spicy Ginger margarita is very good; not sweet, not too spicy. Great pot stickers and calamari. We enjoyed the surf and turf roll the best and we sampled others that we would definitely order again. Great atmosphere, excellent service.

My family: sister, mother and aunts went for ladies lunch during #Houston restaurant weeks 2021. The atmosphere is calm and laid back. The location is very nicely decorated and clean. Service was a little slow... company was great so didn't really ask why. We ordered from #HRW menu and enjoyed all of our bites! Each of us ordered different dishes so we could taste them all.
