Great place for a romantic dinner, birthday, or any other special occasion. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food is excellent with a great wine list. Have been for lunch and dinner. They have a piano player for dinner. The bread basket is the best! Get the focaccia! You can only valet so just make sure you have cash when you go. Can't go wrong with this place!

Best Italian restaurant I have eaten at in Houston. Class owner, employees, atmosphere and food. The owner Abbas embodies everything that is great about those born in other countries who come to Houston to make it an even better place. You cannot claim to love the best of Italian food, live in Houston and not have tried Sorrento. But save it for only a special occasion with that special person.

The presentation of everything is lovely and theservice itself is great. Bread and oil before the meal is delicious and served with a with roasted garlic clove, which definitely gives the place a plus. Dinner portions are a little on the skimpy side and the price does not match the foods quality. Food presentation is nice enough but food is average. Wouldn't return based only on the quality of the food.

Restaurant week lunch menu was tremendous! Staff was super attentive & just plain nice. Can't wait to head there again & try something new.
