Cute little place to go with friends, special occasion or date night. They have complimentary valet there. I’ve been to Soto South Lamar location in Austin before so I expected this location to be just as great. My friend and I ordered a variety of stuff to share and everything was delicious. Definitely would recommend to try this place out!

The tasting menu is a must! If you love sushi you have to try Soto, and let the chef take care of you. sit back with some sake, relax and be blown away by his creations. So happy Chef Soto decided to open in Houston. Hands down best sushi restaurant in Houston now.

Soto was awesome. The food was as good as the two Austin area locations with better ambiance.

We are really excited Soto made its way down here to Houston.

On a side note, the cocktails were solid.

This was their first week in Houston. Ambiance and welcome was great. Menu has lots of choice though some items not yet available. Sushi was sublime. Lobster tempura was delicious and the soft shell crab with fried egg was a transcendent experience which I plan to repeat soon!!! The Tiramisu and warmed sake were a fantastic end to a fabulous evening.

I have been going to Soto for years in Austin. Best tasting menu/omakase experience consistently.

We were lucky to get to come in this last weekend to see the new location. The quality and service are great. The fish is always fresh and chef Andy always has some new tricks up his sleeve to keep us always coming back. Most of the dishes this time we have had in Austin but this time we had a cured and seared yellow tail that was amazing. Hard to put into words how wonderful this was. Generally I’m prefer fresh raw fish but the flavor and texture of this dish was incredible.

Also the black throat perch I have only had at Soto. I have never seen it anywhere else.

I can wait to come back and see what else they create for this location.

Oh yeah I know you don’t think of Japanese restaurants being know for Risotto but Chef Andy’s risotto is fabulous.
