Bringing pastrami's to Houston was a genius idea and so so so good! I can't wait to go back for the chili cheese pastrami burger, LAWD it's so good!
I was born in LA but have lived in Texas off and and on since 1989. I looked all over for good pastrami but was never able to find anything that came close to home. I grew up eating pastrami from Johnny’s on Adams. I didn’t think that I would ever find anything here that came close but I did today. This sandwich was just like home; pickles and mustard and the key - it was dipped!! I will definitely be back. It was delicious (should have gotten two).
Been passing this place for a while I decided to stop in. I’ve never had pastrami so I can’t say Im disappointed or excited. It was hot and fresh. I did like the mustard and pickles that were added, they also dipped the bread in like a juice that made it tasty. Now on to the pastrami, it was like thin meat with fatty parts (not bad) I guess that’s just what pastrami is. The half I got was $8. So I did feel that was a little pricey, but I’d visit again to try other things on the menu.
Makes no sense how good this is!!!! ...if your not eating it ...your thinking about it ...to much flavor to comprehend you just have to try it for your self ...I'm hooked and I plan on having them do any party I ever have! Man hats off to you guys! I never leave reviews
Southwest Pastrami Company makes the best pastrami sandwiches in Houston! I found myself having to deliberately slow down, I was enjoying it much! I will definitely be back to try the loaded fries and the collosal burger (it has pastrami AND chili). Really delicious food and great, friendly smiles, too :)
