Tacos de canasta "mi gusto es"

No tacos are the same in Houston. Highly recommended. It's 40 minutes from where I live and it's worth it.

You’ve never experienced tacos like this…these steamed bits of heaven are traditional to Mexico City. I’ve never found anyone who sells them from Houston down to the Mexican border but finally we found “tacos de canasta deliciosos”!
Expect the tortilla to be falling apart, expect the filling to be packed in tight, that’s part of the process when they’re packed in the basket hot and sealed for transport. The result are the absolutely most delicious tacos that ever existed. Soft, flavorful and simply GLORIOUS! I tasted the chicharrón (not spicy!), beans and potato tacos…I honestly can’t decide which was the best bc they were all delicious. The fillings are perfectly seasoned, a totally unique homemade taste.
Their salsas are delicious too-my brother (who hates salsas normally) loves the green salsa and they floored me with their avocado salsa. The gentlemen who are serving are kind and even when the line gets long it goes by pretty fast. Bring cash!

The best basket tacos in Houston, my favorites are the potato with chop and chicharrón. The green sauce is very good

Tacos de Canasta Tlaxcala style 🌮 has a variety of tacos like the traditional bean, papa and chicharon when they started they were for _1.50 now they are for $2 but they are recommended with their good sauce, very good flavor
