Taqueria El Pepe

I have come here several times for the best tacos in the Jersey Village area. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The tacos are delicious and a great price for what you get. I keep coming back for the Al Pastor Chicken Tacos with their green sauce.

This is a place worth taco-ing about here in Jersey Village/Steeplechase. And wow, the tortillas really make it so good. We ordered 3 tacos with pastor. Moist. Juicy. Flavorful.

And oh that burrito! It was beef, beans, guac, cheese and rice loaded up! I haven't seen a big one like that since being in California. Such a throwback to the old Mexican street vendors or the mom and pop stores.

Do yourself a favor and try a Gordita before they're gone. Carmen (one of the food truck workers taking orders) says that they make 40 Gorditas every other day. They make their tortillas from scratch!

I would come back here in a heartbeat. So good!

We’ve been going to this truck since they first opened up near us. We get a chicken and beef street taco each and they are delicious! At this point we know we’re always down for their tacos when we’re not really feeling anything else. And I swear they’re just getting better with time. The meat, especially the beef/steak has such rich flavor. The salsas have a kick on them (I drip mine sparingly, a little red + a little green), and they give it just that extra something. The service is so warm and you can tell they care about providing people with great food. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great friendly people. Typical Mexican food, very reasonable priced. Recommend it to everyone who likes good Mexican food.

So I just stopped in this place on a whim and look pretty inviting it's in a parking lot little food truck here and the food was great the service was awesome so I will definitely be coming back especially since it's not too far from the house. I invite you to give this place a try
