What a pleasant surprise! Same location as Thai Cottage/Katy... but, OH Sooo much better. We started with chicken dumplings (uninspired) and Fried Tofu ( absolutely perfect, crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside) then Thom Kha soup. We both enjoyed our entrée... My companion had Panang Curry, I chose Crispy Prawns in Tamarind sauce. YUM! NOTE: In my opinion their "# 1 spicy " is no spice at all. I'll be asking for number 2 level on next visit. Also, the language barrier with service staff is not insurmountable, kind patience succeeded each time. Enjoy!
Dined in for dinner for the first time and found our new go-to Thai spot! Service was friendly, food came out fresh, and beautiful interior. We got the calamari appetizer and then for our entrees we ordered: yellow chicken curry, crab fried rice, and shrimp pad Thai. They loaded the dishes up with meat!!! Can’t wait to come back and highly recommend.
As a traveler from Korea, I've had the pleasure of experiencing various Thai restaurants, but this one stands out as the best by far. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and the delightful aroma of authentic Thai cuisine set a promising stage. The dishes were not only visually appealing but also exquisitely flavorful, capturing the essence of true Thai cooking. Each bite was a perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and sour, making it impossible not to savor every mouthful. The service was impeccable, with staff who were both attentive and kind, enhancing the dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional Thai meal in the U.S. Do yourself a favor and visit—you won't be disappointed!
This location used to be my go-to Thai Cottage but recently changed to this restaurant. We came for the soft opening and it was a bit of a train wreck (waited nearly 2 hours for our food). I understand a lot of things can go wrong in a soft opening so I didn’t really hold that against them. We came back and service was much better. The food is decent though definitely not the same cooks that were here when it was Thai Cottage. Portions were quite large so I had to get a to-go box (which is definitely a plus as I usually am able to finish any meal in front of me 🤣).
My wife and I loved it here. I used to frequent Thai Cottage (the previous restaurant) and I can say that the food has improved. I got the yellow curry with chicken; the curry was rich and savory, the portions were just right. It was spicy, but not overwhelming. My wife had the papaya salad, which she greatly enjoyed.
