I didn't like the fish tacos but the gumbo was good. They're pricey
My first time eating at this restaurant. Place was very clean. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions were a good size. Price was good. I will be coming back again.
This has got to be the best seafood place I've had, and I've lived in the Houston area my whole life. The fish is on par with more expensive locations in Galveston, light and not overly salted.
The shrimp, fried pickles, and fried tomatoes have a delicious batter, light and crispy. The first bite was a audible crunch as I bit into it.
The hush puppies are dense, but not dry. The fries aren't greasy, and remoulade sauce is to die for. Definitely adding it to a once a month minimum trip!
Seth is awesome, and both chef and customer service. Looking forward to the next trip.
In case you have not heard. The Catch is a hit!! The hottest basket of fish I have ever had. Well seassoned but not overly salty. I had the battered whitefish and mom the catfish with a side of red beans and rice. Three shrimp and fries were also in the basket and those shrimp had to the biggest shrimp I have ever seen, I mean 2 biters!! So good peeps, give the place a try, you will not be disappointed. They do offer grilled options (I have not tried those yet), fried green tomatoes (next time) and free beer or margaritas (good for Friday night. Promise you that we will be back and you will too!
