The Fish

The fish is a great place to eat! Wednesday, the waitress, took care of all our needs and definitely the food and drinks were absolutely immaculate! Definitely one of the best Sunday Fundays we've had here, Kobe Burger by far one of the best staples in the restaurant industry!!

A great place for a quick bite. The servers are pretty quick and helpful. Good for dining in or takeaway. There are plenty of options for drinks, cooked distress, raw, and vegetarian. The quality is good, but it won't break the bank.

There are many criteria to examine a dining experience: taste, ambiance, service, price, and so on but one often neglected aspect is service recovery.

I have been visiting 4-5 sushi joints in town and I keep coming back to The Fish for excellent taste, good ambiance, value, and solid service. For example, look no further for calamari and tuna tataki. I decided to try something new and ordered the wagyu (Kobe) beef on hot rocks. As the pictures show, the presentation is exquisite and mouth-watering. Unfortunately, the taste was not up to par. I cook plenty filet mignon on grill and sous vide so I expected a buttery-melt-in-your-mouth delicacy from a wagyu. It was so chewy like flank steak despite only searing it for few seconds. At first, I thought I must have messed up, but the second piece had a chunk of tendon in it. There must have been an error somewhere. I informed the well-dressed man at the desk but he just turned away and pointed at the server. That was not professional I thought. However, the server asked me what went wrong, graciously consulted the kitchen and then took it out of the order. I was impressed to say the least. She represents the Fish's excellent service and commitment for customer satisfaction. I should be back to try the ribeye. Thank you for solid service as always.

When the fish is so fresh it is almost swimming and the chef cooks the fish perfectly life is very good. Our waitor was new but gave outstanding service. Thank you Kent. And wait for it we found street parking right at the side of the restaurant. We ate with my daughter and grand daughter to make the night perfect.

The lobster cream cheese appetizer is the best appetizer I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Hands-down! For this reason I will continue to come to this restaurant over and over again year after year and I pray that they never go out of business! The baked lobster sushi roll was absolutely amazing as well! I have never had anything bad at this restaurant everything is always amazing definitely the top of my list for sushi restaurants.
