The Flying Dumpling

I live on campus and would occasionally walk here. They make the best dumplings, I swear they are unbelievable juicy. They make them to order, and my wait is always around 15 minutes. I gave their boneless wings and fries a chance and they were pretty good. Reasonable price for the quality. Semi-regular customer. If I have the money (broke college student gang) I go here. The business is slow, because construction partially blocks their view, so sometimes they close earlier than the posted hours so I would try calling them before hand if you are worried.

Honestly the most authentic Chinese food you can get on UH campus, and for the best price. I got their giant pork bun and it was delicious, and was exactly the same as in Beijing. They are a welcome surprise on campus if you have 20 minutes to wait.

Bonus points for family owned and authenticity. Thanks for giving us broke college students a good meal.

Everything was made fresh so it's definitely best to call ahead. They are not my FAVORITE dumplings, but they are still very good and you can certainly tell they weren't premade. I'll be going back and trying out more things soon ????

Really great place to eat freshly made food which is why it's recommended to order by phone. This was the traditional 6pc wings with sesame sauce and regular seasoned fries; all great choices and great amount of sauce on the wings.
