The Halal Guys

Look I actually like Halal guys. But when I got my order today, it was missing the onion, bell pepper, and hot sauce I asked for. I did not order one platter but three. Also there was not much meat and a whole bunch of iceberg lettuce. For $10 a platter it's up there for fast food. Again l like Halal guys but we have not gone out to eat since self quarantining for the last two weeks so was a little disappointed.

I love the Halal Guys but unfortunately all their locations aren't convenient from me: work or home. Until this location opened up! How stoked was I? Pretty stoked!

I waited a little bit after their grand opening before I would visit to give them some time to get their staff trained right, to get people to calm down a bit so there wouldn't be a long line, etc, etc. You know? So when I drove by and I saw that there was barely any cars parked out front (granted that it was only around 11:15 or 11:30) so it wasn't exactly lunch time yet, I thought it was time for me to swing by.

I ordered a regular-sized combo platter to go and I have to echo what David N. said in his review: the serving size seemed to be much less than what I'm used to but the flavor was exactly what I expected from The Halal Guys. However, I ordered my platter to go and guess what I didn't find when I was getting ready to chow down? PITA BREADS!!! BRUH! I even added an order of Hummus and I got no pita breads? Like, come on now!

Very first time at The Halal Guys on Ella and definitely will be going back !!! First off, everyone there was really friendly and super helpful. The food is yummy delicious !!! I had a gyro sandwich with beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, white sauce and a little spicy red sauce. Everything had good flavor and tasted really fresh. I also got fries which were very good too. I highly recommend The Halal Guys. ????????????

Love The Halal Guys. I got pretty excited at this new location due to it’s proximity to my work. Decided to try the limited time burrito. Same ingredients as the plates, just wrapped up in a tortilla with cheese sauce mixed in. I always get a few lines of the hot sauce. It was pretty good. Probably will just stick to the plates from now on though. It was messy. In the videos they use two tortillas. They only used one on mine. That might be the problem. The only thing I didn’t like about The Halal Guys is they are proud of the white sauce. They usually charge per drop. This location a guy was walking around with a bottle asking if we wanted more. Kinda reminds me of crack dealers from the 1980’s DARE videos. Giving you a taste to get you hooked.

First time and I would definitely eat again. It's like a big salad to me with rice instead of cheese. The hot sauce is hot but with a great kick. The white sauce takes a little getting used to, but the combination with everything is good.

The pita bread is great. It could use a little seasoning but that's probably a personal preference.
