The Port of Peri Peri

We visited on Dec 29, 2020. The place is quite new and very clean. We really liked the decor - very bright and cheerful. The staff at the counter was very friendly and helpful and gave us some recommendations.

I ordered a chicken quarter (leg and a thigh) with their mild sauce. It was tasty. I can't really describe the flavor but it was not common, can't put my finger on it, but very good. It was also pretty spicy (as in hot). I liked it but my wife found it too much for her with a taste. Other reviews have also commented that their 'mild' was a little spicier than one might expect.

We will come back and try some of their other dishes. I also noticed some apparent delivery services coming and going so I think people are using those to try their food as well. We were the only ones inside for the entire time we were there. (Covid and all...).

This place has amazing food. I tried the lamb chops, my fiance the wings and friends tried the chicken. The peri peri sauce is superb! We ordered hot and believe me it's hot but so much flavour! We ordered dessert to go and that was delicious! We will definitely be back.

We had a big order and it was ready in no time. Food was delicious! The portion size was Great. Definitely recommend

We just opened a store inside HEB in Vintage Park and am excited to have The Port so close to us. The chicken is delicious! The spices and marination is on point and you would just want to keep eating ! Will be coming back here for sure.

Great place with good service. Loved the chicken! We ordered ‘medium’ spice and it was hot in typical standard. Will come back again
