The PUB 529

One of the best places to go to have a great time. Not only do they have couple/ single friendly actives, but a great atmosphere in the bar... If the locals love it; you will have a great time. They clean the bar to restraunt quality. Typical bar food but a little bit better than medicore.
Drinks are not expensive. A great place for talent; Great DJ also on the turn tables... Just need a little more publicity... It's my new spot. Bartenders obviously been to ABC bartender school. No over pours and not shorting drinks. You get what you pay for, great attitude. The place was built for grown ups and college people. One of the best places, other than Bench Warmers, to go and have a great time.

BTW. WE NEED SHELLY BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND... A HUMBLE REQUEST.. This is the local bar we frequent. There are darts, pool tables, huge back patio, karaoke certain nights and a big fire pit for the winter. This place recently went through new ownership and they are trying to bring in more people. The place is dog friendly. I heard they even had a dog birthday party before. There is also giant ginga and giant beer pong amongst other games. It is conveniently located near 529 and highway 6 and parking is huge so it's never an issue. The crowd is very friendly willing to make new friends and not as clicky as most other bars.

I'm giving them a 3 because the first time I came for crawfish it was horrible and would've given it to stars! Unseasoned, cold, and overcooked. I came back after a friend said they were better and had a new cook. They are a very nice size and seasoned way better this time. No complaints this time. The patio area is cool, brought the kids this times too

I enjoy coming to this bar. It is close to my house and it is so spacious it never really feels crowded.
When the bar is busy, go to the patio and you'll feel like you are in an entire different place.
Good variety of beer and spirits, prices are not outrageous, they are in par with the other bars in the area. I don't usually order mix drinks at bars, my friends have not complained. Great beer selection.

The bar is also on the side of 529/HWY 6 where smoking indoors is not allowed.
They have cover bands a lot of the times I have gone, which are OK. The loudness gets annoying you can always go out to the patio and catch an
Astros game, play pool, volley ball, or just sit and hang by the fire pit. There are two additional bartenders outside also.

On two different occasions we saw people fight outside and the police were not called. Oh, and also, we encountered the couple parked next to the car having sex in their Toyota Corolla. I know they cannot control what people do, but maybe it is time to invest in a little security.

Other than that, I enjoy my time here and is always one of my top choices in the Copperfield area.
