The Rouxpour - Memorial City

This is the second of the locations that I've visited. This one is a bit more posh than the one in Katy;however, both are incredibly tasty. So get there and try the crab fingers and anything else. Great prices, great food, pretty incredible service too. Tell them that I sent you. It won't help, but... You can say it. Lol. ENJOY!

I love this place. The food is amazing. The service is even better. I’ve never had Cajun food that taste better than this. Andrew is amazing.

Atmosphere was great, our service person Greg was extraordinary, and the food reminded me of good home cooking when I lived in Cajun Country. The seasonings in the food were the same .
The spinach and oysters with bacon is a great appetizer. I will try the deviled eggs next time
My company loved the crab cake and the doubled banana Foster bread pudding and ice took the entire meal over the top.
Again the bread pudding reminded me of the way my family makes it. It delicious.
I can't wait to come back. The parking is the only thing that could have been better. But, that's Memorial Center , parking is just always difficult to find a good space.

Nice interior. Service was a little slow during lunch time. It took about 5 mins until waitress took our drink order. She was very nice and gave recommendations from the menu. We order the crab cakes. Somewhat small but not stingy with the amount of crabs only I like my crab chunky rather than shredded. I ordered the gumbo. It was different than I am used to and a tad salty but flavor was good. My son ordered the salmon and said flavor was good but needs a little salt. For dessert, we ordered the bread pudding and it came out piping hot. We enjoyed the dessert. We will come back to try other items on the menu.

If I could rate this place a 10 I absolutely would! Everything about this place is amazing. The staff, the decor, and THE FOOD!!!! My absolute favorite is the gumbo. I used to think that I had to travel to New Orleans in order to get amazing gumbo but I recently found the best gumbo in Houston at The Rouxpour! I know where to go to get my New Orleans food craving fix! I highly recommend this place!
