Tortas Ahogadas

One of my favorite fast food in Houston, Tortas ahogadas are the best!! just like in Guadalajara, Jalisco Great service by the owners

Unfortunately, as with most of the "tortas ahogadas" found in Houston, the bread that is used in the recipe is not the right kind. The meat itself is delicious and so is the sauce, but unfortunately the bread cannot keep its integrity for more than a couple of minutes at most. Of the two times I've been (both a year or so apart) the initial visit was amazing given the fact that the bread was more on the french bread side of things as opposed to the regular "bolillo" that was used on my second visit.

Honestly this is the best Mexican food I have tasted in Texas in forever! Service was amazing food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was just great!

my experience here at tortas ahogadas was great the workers that worked here are very kind and dont get me started on the food it is delicious my favorite item here is the tortas ahoagdas 10/10 would recommend going here to try the food
