Truth BBQ

Truth BBQ was very good but not exceptional.
The brisket was moist and tender, had more fat in layer than I like, sausage was good. The sides, creamed spinach and tater-tot casserole were tasty. My big issue was nothing was hot! How hard is it to have hot food? Servers were very pleasant and welcoming.

This BBQ joint is located in the great area of the Heights and its exterior decor is very eye catching, bringing simplicity and rustic elements to make the ambience "urban/rural"

The Truth's staff was very polite, helpful and outgoing making the whole experience great from the beginning.
The selection of food is great, I personally had the 3 meat 2 sides combo. Brisket, Spicy Sausage and Ribs (sides: mac & cheese, beans)

The meats where cooked to perfection making every bite a delight. The seasoning was right on the spot. Every dish was fresh and with excellent temperature.

If you want a great BBQ experience this is the place to go for.

No complaints! Delicious food! I had the brisket which was really tender and delicious. The tater tot casserole was really good too. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice with lots of windows and it was really clean. I was impressed with their overall operation and think they do a fantastic job smoking their meats. Thank you Truth, I hope to return again soon.

Possibly the best BBQ in the entire Houston area. If you get there early you can avoid the line. There is not one bad thing on the menu. Their brisket is hardwood smoked onsite and has great smoky bark on it. The jalapeno cheddar sausage is incredible as well. They even make their own pickles that are the best I've ever had.

Absolutely some of the best barbecue in the world if not the best... WOW!
