UMA Japanese Restaurant

That was our first time had dinner at Uma. Sashimi was fresh, tasty sauce, nice presentation, and all that I could say was my 4 years old approved it 😊.

Second visit at the restaurant, delicious food and owner is very friendly. Today, we ordered the love boat for birthday and extremely happy with the service and taste!!! Definitely recommended and we will return, here are the few pictures of the final products, we had it to go and the owner and his wife packed it well go us to go.

My first ever time at this place and the food was distinguishingly good!! I had an amazing plate of seafood yaki udon, sashimi, a bowl of charsiudonburi and a bowl of their signature chicken wings. Ngl, their chicken wings were exquisite for a Japanese cuisine restaurant.

This was great all around, I had mixed tempura and beef bolgogi teriyaki with some unagi rolls. This is probably the first time in Houston I’ve had a meso soup that was actually hearty and flavorful.

The kimchi was next level and blended with the teriyaki beef in a way I cannot describe. You could eat them separately and they would be delicious but together they make two tasty fresh 2 dishes even better than they were alone.

The tempura was so crispy and light you could drag a knife across it and feel the perfect crunch without even putting it in your mouth yet.

The unagi rolls had the rice cooked perfectly tender without being mushy or too hard. Every bite I was able to identify every ingredient individually instead of a sloppy mess.

The last compliment I’d like to make on the food was the spicy mayo. I dislike spicy mayo everywhere and it usually taste like straight chemicals. This was AMAZING. It was so gooooood.
