Urban Bird Hot Chicken

There was good and bad on the visit:

Good:
- Food was delicious
- Portion sizes were good
- Employees were working hard and friendly

Bad:
- 40-45 minutes to get food
- No trash cans in dining room
- Condiments not full for use
- Bathrooms have no way to dry hands

From a consumer point of view, the wait was terrible. 40-45 minutes to get food at a more "fast food" style restaurant is unacceptable. Had it not been for the stellar crew and their politeness, a refund was in order and no more time given.

It was very apparent the team was short-staffed and needed help. However, all the employees never stopped moving and trying hard to do their respective jobs to the best of their abilities. They should be commended for that although it does not reflect well on the establishment to be in this position.

Upon receiving food, it was delicious. The pieces of chicken are generous. The waffles and fries were great. If the staff can get adequate team members to handle the ebbs and flows of daily business, this place will do well. Otherwise, it will fail.

This is the BEST chicken! Perfectly seasoned, not dry. Everything was great! Staff was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable! Eric assisted us at some point (we ordered more food😜) and he was the best. Wish a lot of businesses value customer service and quality like this.

I came to this location for a Yelp Elite event that was offering free meals for Yelp Elite members. This location is located right off of North Eldridge and you would miss it if you weren't looking for it.

Once entered we were greeted right away with a server with a smile who I learned later his name was Eric. Unfortunately the girl who was working the cashier, a young pregnant girl who was wearing glasses was not as nice or hospitable. She seemed very irritated and it was very off-putting maybe it's because she was pregnant maybe she's been working all day I don't know but it was very unpleasant thankfully an older gentleman I believe his name was Dale came to the rescue to help when I told them I was there for the Yelp event Dale helped me with the menu and was getting drinks he was very nice.

I ordered the tenders basket which is chicken tenders that came with a basket of fries and I also ordered the chicken and waffles I also had a side of the buffalo ranch fries. The wait time was not long at all I don't believe we waited more than 10 minutes before our food was ready.

To be honest I thought it was going to be basic fast food type of chicken but everything was actually very delicious the french fries the ranch sauce I'm not sure if that's made in-house but that was very good. both of my kids loved it even a little spice that was on the chicken they didn't mind, they actually ate it all it was very delicious.

The tenders basket and the chicken waffles were about $12 not bad at all for all the food you receive my side of fries was $6 not bad at all! Very good price for the amount of food that you receive

They also offer dessert options which unfortunately we weren't able to try because we were too stuffed from our meals but next time we definitely will! There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for customers which was great when we went which was a Thursday night there was barely anybody in there so that was great and door Decor very cute overall we will definitely be back to try more options I wanted to try the burger next time!

Highly recommended this place! This is the second coming in. I gotta say the quality and ingredients are definitely noticeable. The food is always hot and fresh! Everything we’ve tried so far is really good. The supervisor there is attentive and genuinely friendly. I’m hoping this location will prosper. Today we tried the Tijuana street fries and they were legit!

Great first experience at a new concept. Shana was a great host as our cashier, and when we asked if the concept was new, she gave us a lot of insight and showed her pride in her company. Great job Shana!! Food was prepared quickly, and definitely delivered numerous flavorful experiences. I got the Nashville Hot Mac/Fries, and it was amazing. The selection of fruit-flavored lemonade was a welcome addition (pictured is 50/50 blueberry and strawberry lemonade, it's amazing). We will definitely be back, possibly as early as tomorrow. Hope we see one in the Pasadena/Deer Park area soon!!
