This place is definitely an authentic izakaya for sure. Food price is on the upper end side, tasted ok, I ordered the beef skewer my boy friend order the grilled onigiri. Not a place if you want something to fill your stomach, but it’s a good atmosphere to hangout, drink and have quick chat with friends
So delicious!!! I can't wait to come back and try more. We got all the chicken thigh skewers and beef and pork belly. Very authentic, very simple and very yummy.
When you walk in you immediately get hit with a weird smell. The place smells like old people or something. Makes you wonder what kind of meat and grill they are using. The food was flavourful. Not the best but will probably go back. The steak was a ripoff. $8 for a cut up short rib. You know those sliced ribs with the 4 bones in them? The thin ones? Yea they cut that up into 4 peices and sell it for $8. Total joke. Also they over charged us for ice cream.
I went for the soft opening . Very low-key yakitori spot. Atmosphere was quiet and clean. The space is a bit small. Large parties might be an issue. The staff were helpful and friendly. The prices were decent with a good selection of eats . I can see myself coming back for casual hangouts.
Finally a Yakitori restaurant in Houston that reminds me of my trip to Japan. All of the items we tried were delicious! The service was good and the value was excellent.
I have visited this restaurant on three occasions now and each time the food was delicious, service was friendly, and the value is excellent. The house sake is delicious. Highly recommend! Tip, order only a few skewers at a time so that the food stays hot each time they bring it out. Snack, drink, and repeat. Also, they have the best takoyaki in town IMHO.
