“I've always loved Niko Niko's. The food is excellent and served in large portions for reasonable prices. It is often busy and rightfully so. However, you can call in an order ahead of time and the staff is efficient. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.”

“Southside has the best flat white for a reasonable price. The cafe is no frills and serves both alcohol and great coffee, and it just feels like a quintessential coffee shop. There's no fancy, gaudy decor or elaborate devices. It's focuses on simply being a great place for coffee or a drink. It's no wonder that, despite the small size, the Southside's seats are always occupied by its patrons, either studying or socializing. This may be the only downside that I can think of, but space in midtown is always limited.”

“Very calm and enjoyable experience. Fantastic food, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. The crunchy texture from the fried egg roll wrapper inside their spring rolls was a very pleasant surprise! I've never had one like that before, it was both unexpected and very much appreciated!”

“Cute but cramped family-owned shop selling drinks and cooked snacks. I ordered the chili mango cup. The fresh cut green mangoes were mid ripe and crunchy, soaked in spicy fish sauce. The seasoning was just right (not too salty nor spicy) and had dried baby shrimps for texture. It might be prudent to bring to the consumer's attention somewhere on the price board that there are tiny shrimps in this mango chile snack as some people may be vegetarians/vegans and/or allergic to shrimps/crustaceans.”

“An alright corner store, fully stocked with sodas and chips and other items, have not pumped any gas at this location. During the hour when the sun is going down, be careful of your sorroundings. Overall 3 stars.”

“I come here every now and then. But beware the prices are more here than other McDonalds. $1.50 for a small coffee..... I gave 3 stars because not once was my order wrong at each of my visits.”

“I love a family owned place! This business is putting in the work by being open 24 hours- my goodness!! The employees were so kind and patient even when the customers got rowdy. I am not a huge sweets person, but this donut was fantastic!! Made to order (so you do have to be patient and wait), the dough was still warm and melt in your mouth. The toppings were perfection. I got chocolate frosting, pecans, and caramel. However, I wouldn’t say that I recommend their lattes. But everything else was fantastic”

“This was my first time at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised at the options. The staff was not very customer service oriented. The women are the registered seemed upset anytime I asked a question. On the plus did you only have to deal with then when you order. The food quality was pretty good, very fresh. It's a great place for a meeting.”

“Ordered 2 lattes and a scone which totaled to $24!!! The woman at the counter said it was one of the best lattes in the U.S. after i was surprised at the total. And, no doubt, both the latte and scone were super tasty. I think the scone may have been organic, but I'm not sure. Either way, $6.99 for a latte is steep and I was not expecting that in Houston! Id be hesitant to pay for this even in California. Regardless, the place is cute, and I came in on a day with amazing weather and so i sat outside. Houston does need more cozy cafes like this. I wish the prices could be adjusted a little lower as they are hugely overpriced, then I'd be able to enjoy the cafe and it's drinks more often.”

“Food was great. Their Nova Lox and farmhouse are delicious and are well prepared. The only issue was that their mens restroom had no door knob and instead paper towels were used to remedy the issue.”

“Organized store and welcoming cashiers! It was an in and out stop. I purchased only a fountain drink. I do like the modern fountain machines over the slimy ones that I’ve found at other Valero’s. It was a good experience. Cashiers really are up beat and full of smiles!”

“Best Crepes in Houston. Why? Amazing owners (Rafael and Ana) which results in a caring atmosphere and great consistency with the sweet and savory crepes (and cappuccino) they serve. P.S. just try the cinnamon roll crepe and you will see what I mean.”

“Friendly staff with a lovely spaghetti western theme. Old western framed movie posters hung across the restaurant. Has a bar and regular seating. Comfortably air conditioned. Food was good with no complaints from my 5 person party. Kid friendly with coloring books and a child's menu too.”
