I heard good things so I swung by for dinner and grabbed a loaded baked potato. When the man gave it to me I said "Dang!" Because it was so big for $10. He smiled and said this is your dinner and breakfast. He wasn't lying. I ate half and I'm stuffed now. Can't wait to come back to try other stuff.
This is actually for the brand new location in Liberty, TX. Service was really good. Had the brisket sandwich, mac n cheese and jalapeño hot water cornbread. Sandwich had a great flavor, almost too much meat(I was too full to eat more than a taste of my mac n cheese, very good too) the hotwater cornbread was a little sweeter than I like but still awesome.
We ate here for the first time today and loved it. I had the fried chicken, macaroni and hot water cornbread (the best!!) and my husband had the brisket ,which was very delicious..Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff was super friendly…
We will definitely eat here again.
This was our first trip to I Ain't lying.. it was really good.. meat was very tender and had real good flavor. The staff was very welcoming and inviting, which is not always the case these days. I think we had as much fun with them as we did eating. From the gentleman welcoming you in (even if he was from Seattle " Seahawk", lol) to the Cashiers, all were positive and happy.
We had the $10 combo brisket sandwich. A brisket sandwich, a side, and a drink. We felt it was definitely worth the money. Plenty of meat on the sandwich! 🍔
If I could give a recommendation for this new place.. it would be to let the customers know what comes on the sandwich. My husband loves jalapeños and onions, etc.. I, however, do not. I expected pickles and onions, so I asked no onion. But, had no idea the jalapeños would be on it. Wasn't a deal breaker, I just removed them, but I think that it could have been a big deal to someone that detests them more than I do.
Otherwise, looks like I Ain't Lying is the best BB-Q in Huffman. 😊😊😊👍
Everyone come on out and give them a try!!!
Went here for breakfast and had the biscuits and gravy. I have to say it was pretty good now the gravy wasn't like my grandma's but it was definitely good. He let us try the brisket tacos and they were freaking delicious and I will go back. The owner was so friendly and I hope he does well. He's just getting settled in so give him a try and see for yourself.
