El Jalapeno Mexican Cafe #2

This was our first visit to El Jalapeno restaurant. Upon entering, we were greeted by a sweet lady who made us feel very welcome. Our server was helpful in describing the meals that I was trying to decide between. I love that she let me know that the steak was not chewy and tough without me even having to ask her. She was right by the way the meat was very tender, flavored well, and delicious. We enjoyed our lunch and we'll definitely be back. I ordered the lunch steak fajitas I think it was called something similar. The salsa is warm and had a bit of a kick to it. I wasn't crazy about it but that's only because I prefer salsa that isn't warm in temperature. It did have a really good flavor to it though. This place is definitely worth checking out.

We celebrated with 30+ people towards closing and we were the only ones there (9:30pm). Service was still courteous and quick. Knock off 1 star for some forgotten orders but overall a great experience.

Food aroma makes you hungry in the parking lot. First time going with colleagues and the tables are so close that conversations overlap and you can't hear the person next to you. Otherwise awesome.
