The food here is not just bar food. It is truly fantastic. Their pulled pork is amazing and their fries are unique. I've tried half a dozen things on the menu and the only thing I wasn't over the moon about was the crawfish. I hope they keep working on it. The only downside is that they get super busy so service can be a bit slow at times.
I gave it 3 stars for now because I think it has potential. We went there yesterday and I really liked the space inside and out. Everything looks fresh and clean. Out back there is a stage for performances, covered and uncovered seating, and some outdoor games. The service was slow to get started as the staff was so focused on cleaning they weren't coming to see if we were ready to order. The food was good quality and flavors but lacked consistency from plate to plate. There were seven of us and our plates were coming out one or two at a time with long stretches of time in between. The people who got their food first were done long before the last people received their food. The owner was there and he seems like a good guy. He knows the level of service is an issue and expects to have everything straight in the next few weeks. We will definitely check back on that, but for now we'll probably just go there for ????. I'll update my review after they've had some time to work the kinks out.
Even though it was not packed when me and some friends went we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and the atmosphere was great, there were games to play that were fun. Hope to go again when they start having live bands.
Cool chill spot. Food is good. Has been greatly remodeled. But if you use to come here when it was the Runway, not the same atmosphere. Less of a party scene. Might get better when they get a dj or have a live band playing.
Delicious discovery post horseback riding down the street. Everything exceeded expectations: the pretzel was tender but chewy and perfectly done; the onion rings were crispy, cooked all the way through, and not too oily; the chicken fried steak was moist on the inside, but battered perfectly crispy; the Texas dog was wrapped in bacon, served on an onion bun with all the Texas trimmings. Very tasty experience. Might very well become our post horseback riding hangout.
