Bamboo House

Delicious. This place never fails each time we have dinner here. It's definitely a hidden gem tucked away in the Northeast corner of the city. This restaurant serves authentic Chinese cuisines at a very reasonable price. We got the the Peking Duck, House Special Beef Noodles, and a mixed veggies dish. Come try this place out!

This place has the best crispy duck, Peking Duck, that I have eaten and I lived in China for 7 years with my Chinese wife. It's one of our favorite dishes and we've had it all over China. This place rocks! Huge portions, incredible noodles, duck soup.... it just goes on and on! If you want some of the best authentic Chinese food and the best duck you owe it to yourself to visit Bamboo House.

I loved it. The waitress was really nice, she kept checking on us the whole time. The food was delicious. I was very surprised with the portion of food lol it was a lot. One plate can feed 2 to 3 people and its affordable. My husband and I were pleased.

Some of the best Chinese food in Houston! The food is great and better than many choices even in Chinatown. The portions are HUGE and prices are very reasonable. It’s worth driving out of your way for the great value.

The Peking duck is a must try. You can call ahead to reserve. It comes with a giant bowl of duck broth based soup.

The service was fast and friendly. The venue is large,open and clean. There’s a large parking lot.

This is the third time I have eaten at the Bamboo House. I was seated promptly by the manager himself who was friendly and helpful. There was no wait at lunch. The service is pretty good. The food has improved dramatically from my first visit. The sweet and sour chicken taste great. The fried rice is done right. The lunch portions are large enough to take home and eat for dinner. The waiter was great with my kids and the children enjoyed eating here and want to come back. The location is convenient.
