First time today and was a great experience. Great food and very good people. Feels just like home. Will definitely be coming back and refer our friends and families.
OK, maybe good?, by American taste.
Need to get back earlier to get a better idea.
It was too late in the day to get a proper sampling.
To sum it up in 3 words: food was good. And if I might add, actually, it was excellent. Not cheap but definitely quality Filipino. Service was awesome. Place looks small on the outside but it looks way bigger in the inside. Decor is vintage. Yes, I recommend this place. Parking: street parking, coin/metered. I had the sago gulaman ( their version is a dressed up sago gulaman ) and the Tocino. Tasty!!!
I've been here since I was a little boy and it seems to bring a lot of cherished flavors to those who missed their hometown cooking in the Philippines. Aside from the food which is phenomenal in terms of savory, citrus, and sweet; they also have a mini grocery with snacks and cooking ingredients produced by the Philippines. The whole atmosphere is as if a close friend or relative has invited you into their home which may feel unusual if you're not familiar with the loose setting, but rest assured its just pure and natural affinity.
