    Used to be our favorite neighborhood Tex-Mex restaurant, but IMO quality and service have declined.

    Food was excellent and full of flavor. The staff made me feel very welcome and was overall very impressed with this restaurant. Cafe del sol made me feel at home and didn’t hurt my wallet one bit. Excellent local Mexican food in Katy.

    We first went to Cafe Del Sol because it was close to our house and we love Mexican food. Now they are on our dinner out short list. From Nachos, burritos, fajitas, or enchladas... it's all good. They are local and family owned, provide great service and nice atmosphere.
