Red River BBQ & Grill - Katy

It was a little expensive. I got the salad bar. It was good. Very fresh and kept up well. They do have some daily specials. Can't give a real fair rating since we didn't get barbeque.

First time trying this place. We tried to get a good sampling.
We got pork ribs, spicy sausage, smoked turkey, onion rings, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, mac-n-cheese and jalapeno cornbread.
The spicy sausage was excellent. The ribs were a bit small but flavorful with or without sauce. They tasted a little sweet. I don't love sweet meat but this wasn't too bad. The sauce is good. Vinegar based. The turkey was tender and juicy. The coleslaw was good, as were the onion rings. The cornbread was good and spicy.
Oh! The mac-n-cheese was also good. It tastes like they make it will real cheese and not some orange powder.

3.5 happy dances out of 5.

Delicious. Hadn't been here in awhile since moving out of the immediate area but regret now this place falling off the radar.Brisket was beautiful..moist marbled to absolute perfection. My personal fave aide dish Macaroni Salad...just like mom used to make.Staff super friendly..helpful. This will now be back as our go to barbecue place.we will continue to pass up the two other barbecue places to get here.So yummy!!

Best PoBoys in town! We drop in here about once a month with the entire family and always leave extremely happy. Prices are decent and the quality of the food is very good. Highly recommend

Food was good. Above average price but quality was there. Had brisket nice smoke ring not dried out. Chicken also good well flavored but sausage was dry and looked like it was dry. But price wise was a bit high 3 adult meals 3 meat plates and 3 drinks 80.00 not including tip.
