I was in the area and happened to pass by Bretts. I decided to stop. Dining room was closed due to COVID and I didn’t realize that you had to order online and servings were listed as “until we’re out”. However they accommodated me anyway with a smile and a cold refreshment on the house! Good food is easy to find but customer service is not. At Bretts, it’s above and beyond with a smile! It’s easy to see why they’re successful in such awkward times. Definitely on my lists of places to return. Thanks for the great food and above and beyond service! ?

This place had amazing bbq however I am writing a review critiquing the website. I find some of the subtext under the orders to be quite rude and off putting. For example this is a quote directly from the website under the order for white bread: “Ordering 12 pieces of bread for 1lb meat? Be sensible, we are not the grocery store. We reserve the right to amend your order as we see fit.”

Working in food service, I understand this frustration as customers sometimes feel entitled to large amounts of food that are impossible to deliver. However there are better ways to go around this issue other than telling paying customers to “be sensible” and insulting their intelligence.

Why don’t you just explicitly say how much bread you are willing to give instead of a passive remark to avoid situations like this? Just a thought.

Other than that, the food was very seasoned and flavorful and the lady who took care of us was friendly. I just ask for a change on the website as it almost drove us away from ordering here.

We ordered the game day special from Brett's BBQ. It was $130 with tax and tip. Best barbecue ever! I highly recommend it. We got 2 lb of brisket, 2 lb of ribs, 1 lb of Turkey, 1 pound of sausage, and a half a pound of pulled pork. It came with all the fixings, sauce, onions, jalapenos, pickles and bread. I recommend this to friends and family!

Brisket, ribs, turkey, and chicken are on point. Sauce was ok, too much chili powder or paprika and not enough vinegar. Potato salad and beans were great. We didn't care for the slaw. The beer infused sausage tasted great but had a strange texture. I hear their other sausages are better. Will definitely try again.

Amazing BBQ!!! I was a bit skeptical with all this hype about Brett's because I was born and raised here in Texas, so naturally I've had hundreds of good BBQ places even some famous ones like Killeen's. This place has the best brisket, pork belly burnt ends, and Mac N cheese I've ever had the pleasure of tasting!! The chicken is also really good and the service is exceptional.
