Castillo's Mexican Restaurant

My first time going with a friend of mine, we both had menudo and their homemade corn tortillas. It had really good flavor. The owners, husband and wife, and the rest of their family were all very pleasant. I will definitely go again to try other foods.

We have been hearing about this place from a facebook page I follow and they did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed. Owner was extremely nice and was very accommodating to my requests. The chips are homemade and you can tell with that “Crunch” YUMMY! The red salsa was delectable and my husband said the green salsa was really spicy but good. I ordered the nachos with ground beef and it was definitely LOADED. My husband had the chile relleno and it was flavorful and filling.
Overall we will be back. Everything was amazing from start to finish!

we went last night for a quick supper. Wowsa! there were of us, 2 couples.
we were greeted immediately upon entering. the employees are very friendly and helpful.
we ordered at the counter and found a table. we had the jalapeño appetizer and queso. the chips and salsa are my hubby’s favorite. he likes the thicker chips and these did not disappoint.
I had a breakfast taco (which I reheated the next day and it was AMAZING!) and the carne guisada taco. the tortillas are fresh and very, very good. the carne was tender and tasty. I also tasted the tortilla soup. YUM! a great broth with well developed flavors.

Castillo was in the soft opening phase, which we didn’t realize. they run it smoothly and efficiently. the kitchen was super quick. everything arrived hot and tasty.

they said they will have a full service bar in the future.

all of the employees are friendly and professional. prices are great too.

you will love Castillos and won’t be disappointed. give it a try.

Best breakfast tacos in ALL OF KATY! And surrounding areas. This location is a sister location to the famous Tejas Tacos in SW Houston. I’ve been going to Tejas Tacos for over 20 years and now it’s here in Katy! You will not be disappointed. Try for yourself. Homemade tortillas and food made from scratch!

My wife and I had the fajita plate and the South of the Border tacos. The food was delicious and they serve real flour tortillas. This location has only been open for 2 weeks and the staff are very eager to please. I highly recommend you eat here if you're a fan of TexMex food!

We came back for breakfast a week later and once again were blown away with the food quality and customer service.
