I can't believe I have not written a review for this place till now!!! I absolutely love this place.
TLDR: The food is unbelievably good.
I first discovered this place in November of 2019. I ordered the brisket nachos and my wife had the chefs special for the week. I was blown away by the food portions first of all. Those nachos were so heavy with toppings! Then I had my first bite and WOW it knocked it out of the park. I have never had such great brisket and the seasoning was wonderful. I promised to be back and I was.
Since that first delicious meal I have tried every single thing on their menu and most every chefs special. Not once have I been disappointed! This is food made with love by the owners (which by the way are a brilliant husband and wife team)
I now have friends that drive up to 3 hours just for this BBQ at least once a month and other friends that I have to ship to in states as far away as Minnesota!
This was my first visit to Daddy Duncan's Barbeque which is a great food truck that is on site at the ErmaRose Winery LLC, on Fridays and Saturdays. We tried the Brisket, Barbacoa, Dr. Pepper Oxtails and the featured item smoked Turkey legs. The Brisket was cooked to perfection moist and tender full of flavor. The Oxtails were a twist on your usual tails with gravy these were cooked with Dr Pepper and smoked tender falling off the bone deliciously perfect. The Turkey Legs were jumbo and smoked deeply, the legs were tender to the point of pulling easily from the bone just as they should be. The Barbacoa was excellent using beef cheeks absolutely buttery and tremendous flavor moist and juicy. The chef offers a great choice of sides that all are prepared with care. I have been looking at there Facebook posts for sometime now and had to finally give them a try I'm glad I did, there food is well worth the travel from anywhere if you truly appreciate excellent Barbeque and food that is prepared with top quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this location. I think in the near future there will be a brick and mortar location. The owners Randy and Sylvia Duncan are great and truly are committed to serving the best .
