IHOP

This was a very odd dining experience. A group of us were out and about and searched for restaurant near me still open around midnight. IHOP popped up and we all thought sure why not. We arrived they stuck Us in an ice table and then the waitress was very interesting because she didn't write any one's order down. She was kind and smiled while taking the order and almost over confident. Here's where it got weird. From the time the first plate was delivered to the last it took 32 minutes. We've been waiting 20 minutes before the first item came and it was not ordered separately they were all placed at the same time. The good news is I went up and talked to the manager and she comped the last person food because it took so long and offered everybody else a 20% discount. They may have been short-staffed and the kitchen that night but I would have been more proactive and immediately got my manager out to the table. We'll try again another night to see if it's any better.

Food and service was very good. The place could be a bit more clean, but everything else was good. The menu is huge so you have options to pick from. Food was very good. Kids loved their happy face pancake. Everyone left very pleased.
