L & L Hawaiian Grill

We saw a new opening sign and wanted to pop in and try. Staff were very friendly and the place was new and clean. Our eyes caught the mitsubi poster. We ordered one of the spam, ham, chicken, and chicken katsu. Of the three, we liked the ham one the most. The spam would have been better if it was grilled more to get the crunch. The chicken was moist while the chicken katsu was crispy. I look forward to trying the other dishes!

Tasty local Hawaiian comfort food. Giant portions and great value. Fast friendly service in a clean venue with a fair amount of seating. For those from Hawaii, it’s an accurate taste of home. For everyone else, it’s a Hawaiian vacation for your tastebuds and tummy.

Howzit! So glad to see the L&L seed has been planted here in Houston. My son and I drove nearly 50 miles from the Humble area. I can say this place MO BETTAH, than anyplace that claims to have Hawaiian Style food and plate lunches. Good job to the Bruddahs and Sistahs at L&L, everything we ordered remind me of how the food in Hawaii taste. And the portions as well as taste (see pics), are generous and real ONO! Now I don’t have to wait and visit friends and family in Hawaii or Vegas to get that Onolicious L&L kine grindz! Two suggestions, get some ALOHA SHOYU and open a location on the Northeast Side (Bush IAH), plenty of kamaainas ova here! Mahalo nui loa.

So glad they open this location!!! If these are the same owners as the previous place closer to Katy Mills, this is a way better location and probably will have more of the traffic this place deserves to succeed.

L&L is a great place to get some Hawaiian food that will be as close as you'll get without having to fly to the island. On the day I went it had small to medium traffic but the food came out fresh and tasty! Just as I would expect from this chain and what I remember when I was in Cali.

If you're looking for some great Hawaiian food or just looking to change it up from the norm, you won't go wrong here!!!

Met some friends here today. We all came to get a taste of home (Hawaii). They even had poi. I got the Hawaiian BBQ mixed plate. Ono-licious! This location is a little far from where I live in The Woodlands, but definitely will be back when I get a craving for some Hawaiian Food.
