Lao Sze Chuan

Ordered the beef schezuan noodle soup and the house special lamb tofu.

Food was really good.
Prices were reasonable for quantity served and flavor.
Service is a little slow but if you catch their eyes they come quickly.

Will be returning to try all the interesting food we didn't get to eat this time

We have been here a handful of times now and we must say that its become one of our favorite Chinese restaurants. The food has been consistently delicious. Always comes out hot and fresh. Fair warning to call ahead for duck- they run out fairly early in the evening. Service has been hit or miss. The staff has always been very nice, but they always seem to be short staffed. They work hard and are always busy, so sometimes you have to put in effort to get attention. We recently had a large group gathering of 20+ people and called 20 minutes ahead... they did an excellent job accommodating us. Everyone in our group said food was delicious (most of us are Chinese- if that gives any credibility)

Our favorite dish is the salted egg tofu- it has such a unique taste- can't find it anywhere else around here.

So far it’s the best tasting Chinese food I have had in Katy. The duck was tender and full of flavor. Singapore noodles had a hint of curry flavor to it and it was so tasty. Everything we tried was delicious. Can’t wait to go back

Located in a small Mason Blvd shopping strip. I say this because whats inside is not a typical Chinese restaurant. Much finer and if it was located in Katy Asian town, it would be so much busier. Menu is extensive of true cuisines from China. 2x cooked pork, eggplant dish, and flat noodles have distinctive tastes similar to what we've had in Shanghai and Beijing. My group agreed on adding this in our top go to restaurants.

Great restaurant! Their Peking duck was some of the best - perfectly crispy skin and lots of flavor. Loved how it included soup, the wraps, sauce and an appetizer. You can tell quality is important.

Ambiance- new and well decorated. Loved their plates and bowls. Inside lights were a bit bright for night.

Service was very kind and attentive.

Highly recommend this restaurant!
