Uncle Julio's Mexican From Scratch

stopped in for some queso, beer, and a margarita. This place is always consistent. Slightly pricey for dinner but the lunches are reasonably priced. Always clean aw well as the bathrooms. I've never had to wait to get a table but then again I haven't been during a weekend at 7PM. If you're in the area try it out.

This was our first experience at Uncle Julios. I had read the reviews and most were good but I wanted to see who this super SAMMIE was. I met my husband there so he did not ask for the server, but by luck we got this super SAMMIE! She was fantastic! Every single item she recommended was great. We don't know how she was doing it but she was communicating with 3 or 4 tables at once as if she was gliding through so exceptionally! At one point I noticed all of her tables we were talking to each other about her. It was an incredibly busy Sunday night, but we never felt it. She was highly attentive.
The food was great! The drinks from the bar were so good! 5 ???? to SAMMIE, her service, the food, drinks & atmosphere! Bravo ????????

Visiting Houston and this place was recommended by a friend. Some of the best food I've eaten in quite a while as a road warrior. Leo, our enthusiastic and eager waiter; was awesome and seemed to really enjoy his work. Friendly staff, nice choice of inside or outside dining and just a great overall experience. Highly recommended!

Went there and had an amazing time! Our server SUPER SAM gave my family and me the best experience for my mom's birthday. I must say the kiwi margarita was the bomb dot com and the fajitas were perfectly cooked like our server explained. We are going back for sure to celebrate with such an amazing host as she was and hoping to make it a spot for happy memories.

This was our first visit and we were blown away! Today was Steven’s first day on the floor, he normally bar tends, and he went above and beyond! I would not have known it was his first day in the floor if he hadn’t told us. It was Father’s Day and very busy, yet he still never stopped by our table that he was not smiling. He had great menu recommendations and had great knowledge of the fresh menu. We’re new to Katy and we will definitely be back! I wish I had taken a picture of the food for attention to this review but I was in a rush to eat because I was presented so well! And the best part.... WARM SALSA!!
