This place is legit and I am so happy that this place opened up. I have been eating Haitian food since I can remember. Miami is a mixed pot but all of my neighbors were either Haitian or Cuban, or from the Caribbean or South America. I grew up with so much good food. This place brought me back! If your are reading this, and considering trying Haitian food start with the Griot (fried pork from heaven) and then work your way down the menu. Much love to this place. “Awesome, awesome, awesome!! Big portions cooked to order with special touches like the house sauce, house lemonade, and a little secret extra on the fried okra. I especially appreciate that the catfish was well-seasoned without being too salty. I had a fish and whole wings combo. I got full in the restaurant and still had lots of leftovers. Both my husband and I were able to enjoy the rest at home. I was at an appointment and chanced on the place for lunch, but I'll gladly make the trip when I'm in the mood for some fresh fish and flavorful chicken. I wish I had taken a picture!! I will next time!”

I ordered the beef /broccoli and the walnut shrimp, so I asked the young lady could she add just a little more shrimp, she told me I can only put 7 shrimp on the plate? I thinking to my self, don't I pay extra for this particular shrimp? “Ordered to-go. Was told it would be 25-30min which is normal. Showed up at 35min and pizzas still weren't ready. Place was completely empty at dinner time on a Sunday evening. I was told the pizzas were just coming out of the oven. Waited about 3-5min. Got them home and the crust of the large pizza was burned, way too crispy. Not enjoyable. The bottom of the pizza was limp, too, which didn't make sense. My wife liked her bacon-chicken pizza though or else I'd rate lower.”

“I ordered the Catfish platter, Land Lovers (Steak & Chicken) and Pot Stickers. Catfish are thick with slight batter. Land Lovers can easily feed 3-4 people. They cut the steak and chicken in square cubes, it was good. Can’t go wrong with Pot Stickers, flavorful little pork bites. This reminds me of going to get lunch in a food court at any mall. Pleasantly satisfied, great place for dine in or takeout locally.”
