Waffle House

Great breakfast! I had two eggs, bacon, wheat toast and smothered hash browns. If you like Strong coffee you would give it 5 stars. Waitress was very attentive.

Everyone was so sweet here, my mom said it was a tad too cold and Rhonda went ahead and turned off the ac for us. She was so sweet!

Waiter did not listen to the order well at all. Tea barely had any ice and when he refilled still gave no ice. Food was great as always. Not so great service. Normally that's not a problem at this location.

One doe's not get a second chance to make a good first impression. Unfortunately, they blew it. The customer to staff ratio was somewhat low the morning me and my Mom stopped off for some breakfast, so there should not have been any excuse (short of being staffed by all untrained new-hires) for the shoddy service we received. When I visit a restaurant, I expect a certain degree of efficiency and professionalism from the staff. I expect my meal to be served at an appropriate temperature, within a reasonable amount of time, and all at once. Two sausage patties does not constitute an appetizer, my breakfast dish, served several minutes later was the entree' I'm guessing, and my dry waffle served several minutes after that was most likely the desert. I had to ask for a cup of butter for my grits and waffle (which I NEVER received) and our table had no syrup. The bottle of syrup our server did bring us was literally sticky and dripping from syrup that never made it to Lord knows how many plates before us. A quick rinse under hot water would have been helpful - but wait - here's a totally new concept - how about a CLEAN syrup dispenser or else sealed single service cups readily available at the table. If this is the level of service indicative of this eatery, I seriously doubt if I will be returning here again.
