Kirk & J's BBQ

First- Mmmmmmm!
Second- We've recommended Kirk and J's to so many people since we first tried them during their soft opening!
Third- The BBQ! So tender and flavorful. And we love the regular and spicy BBQ sauce (spicy is awesome). And the sides- just delicious. The last time we went, my two year old was drinking the mac n cheese from the bowl!
Fourth- Kirk is just good people. He came out and chatted with us while we were there. He truly loves what he does and it shows in every bite. I highly recommend Kirk & J's!!!

The brisket was moist and the ribs had great flavor. I wish my wife could cook green beans like that. I enjoyed the service. They were extremely personable. I’m glad to have a good TX BBQ spot near the house. I don’t have to drive all the way to Luling anymore. I see this place being around for a while. I just hope they don’t move too far from my home when they decide the establishment needs bigger digs, which I predict for their near future.

So, in this day and age when looking for a good place to shop and eat everyone always looks at the reviews. Of course you want to conduct business with someone that has good reviews as do I. But I also look at establishments that reply to any review whether good or bad. As you can see Kirk & J’s does that. Well, as long as they are around I will be buying my BBQ from them.

Amazing BBQ and great staff. I was the last customer of the night so they were pretty limited on selection. But they took care of me! They gave me 2 big containers of Brisket (way more than a pound), some ribs, and a couple sausage with 2 large sides and only charged me for a 1 meat family deal. Everything was amazing. Brisket was juicy and tender with a great bark. Ribs were fall off the bone. A touch dry, but it was the end of the day. They still had awesome flavor! Both my sides were exactly how I like... Weird location, but definitely worth checking out.

Great food and service. I had the brisket, Mac and cheese, and cole slaw. I will definitely be back to try more out... currently to full.

Tried this place this evening with my family and we all loved it! The food and service were fantastic....and the banana cream pudding DELICIOUS!! The owner walked from table to table checking on all the guests and thanking each one for coming in AND best of all, they donate food to a local charity each week!
