Shogun

We had a great experience tonight. Our chef listened to our dietary needs and expressed a sincere desire to exceed our expectations. All proteins were well seasoned and not overcooked.

Decent/OK sushi, cozy environment horrible service (table/booth side).

Family of four (two kids) seated in the table and booth side (no hibachi side the service may be better over there, not sure). maybe
Horrible service: several issues in just one and first time customer experience:
1. delays with the Appetizer. After we asked where is it (sushi rolls for the kids arrived fast but appetizer, after 10 mins didn’t come). Answer from waitress was there was no one ingredient. So we asked: “is any way to substitute that specific ingredient (mango). She asked to the chef and the answer was “he doesn’t know”. Ok. We ordered another one.
2. No clue which type of beers they had.
3. Everything else was delayed (water, training chopsticks.
4. Bill arrived and it had the appetizer that never came. No apologies from neither the waitress nor the owner.

Place was not crowded. It seems to be service people need to be trained or have a better selection.

Fun place for birthday or meeting friends or family. Tasty meals prepared by a chef right at your table. They put on a show to entertain your party as they prepare and serve your food.

This was my first time to eat a ton Shogun and my second time to eat hibachi grill. I had the steak and shrimp with fried rice. It was delicious and the chef was very skilled and entertaining. We went with some friends who invited us. The only downfall was they began cleaning a part of the restaurant behind us with what smelled like bleach right at lunch time. The smell was overwhelming. We were finished eating and they weren't busy, but we did leave earlier than expected due to the smell. Still though a good experience. Recommend.

The service is great they are very attentive, the food quality is always wonderful! Ashley and Hailee are great servers, and my to go orders are always quick and correct when Ariel makes them! Definitely recommend this place for any meal. Quick lunch, nice sit down dinners, and orders to go!
