la Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe Spring

Probably one of the nicest and cleanest I’ve been to. Food was overall good and glad that this cafe is so close.

I will echo some of the previous reviewers about the staff.

-Only thing I would suggest would be that they have breakrooms for their employees, not that I’m certain they do not. Maybe they are somewhat overstaffed? Most of the time I was there I saw employees on break all over the restaurant. Maybe they were just chatting while working, but it seemed like there was more chatting than working overall which was different. At one point there were four or five employees sitting at tables which was somewhat strange either eating or sitting at the table with a bottle of glass cleaner or chit chatting while the manager was running around. I’ve seen this more than one occasion and it kind of makes the place seems slightly mismanaged.

Also came another time and they left off part of my order. Went up to tell them and was told they’d get it. Literally went back almost dismissed with my meal and not resolved. Had to go back up to address again.

I can't believe I am so fortunate in live to live across the street from this place! Had the Cherry cheese croissant and coconut cake with a mocha Latte. Everything about it was perfect. Love the French bakery feel and the Jam dispensers in the back. Will definitely be back !
