Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Pretty decent barbecue. I wasn’t impressed with their sausage or their choice of sides. But they have a mean brisket, and their ribs are so tender that the meat falls off the bones. If you compare taste, there are plenty of better options that will cost you an arm and a leg. Service here is quick and friendly. Restrooms are clean. The country store is a much appreciated amenity by all.

Have eaten here a couple of times and the food is always good, however, the last time we went our moist brisket was bad (it tasted sour). I did bring it to the manager's attention and he very politely replaced it for us. He even asked me to taste test the new brisket before replacing it. We ordered quite a bit of food and everything else was fine.

Service at the register was very friendly, it was my first time at this location, and my wife's firth time ever. They proceeded to tell us how the menu works and gave us quite a few samples. I recommend their Brisket and especially their turkey. The hot sides are all very good as well. I would stay away from the pulled pork, as it was nothing special to me.

Starting from the outside, you should find ample parking at this location. They finally got rid of their gas pumps that took up so much real estate (and was very rarely used) and added parking spots. The inside was clean and had the usual casual and nice atmosphere.

One thing about most Rudy's locations is their consistency. I don't think I've ever been disappointed or at the same time pleasantly surprised by any of their store. Their BBQ is good, I'm a saucy person and love their sauce. The price is reasonable for BBQ. The sides they provide pair well with their food. They also offer some desserts such as banana pudding.

Best Texas BBQ in the area! Very casual, outdoor and indoor, large seating area indoor. Price isn't too bad. The meat is smoked to perfection and filling. The service is good, depending on what time you go because it can be packed on some days. All in all a place I would definitely recommend anyone craving BBQ to try.
