Starbucks

El Dorado location was fast, friendly and the coffee was great. My first date (with my now wife) was there. So we ordered the same two drinks, white chocolate mocha and peppermint to celebrate 3 years since our first date. The drive through line was long, but the walk-in was super fast. By the way, I gave my wife the nickname "Cocoa" after that first date. So go by there, who knows you might find a life long partner.

This location was already a bit "hit or miss" before the COVID lockdown, but even more so since (and much more so than other Starbucks locations in Clear Lake/League City since things started re-opening). I've had two really positive experiences in the past 2-3 months, but I'm pretty sure that's only b/c I happened to be there at a slow time. Generally, there's no point submitting a mobile order unless you like lukewarm food/beverage. It would be nice if the store would communicate better...when the lobby is temporarily unavailable, at least put a sign on the door rather than just locking them in the middle of the day. This has been a huge disincentive for me coming to this location even though it's closest to my home.
